Monday, December 18, 2006

The preschool group went to Burnett Elementary today to hear the story "The Polar Express," drink hot cocoa, and sing Christmas carols. They had a wonderful time and were very well-behaved. The group received compliments on their wonderful behavior. We are so proud of them! :)

Trip to Lone Star Pines Christmas Tree Farm 2006

The Preschoolers visited Lone Star Pines Christmas Tree Farm today and Miss Linda took some pictures of their trip. Enjoy the slide show! :)

Project HOPE's day care center will close early on December 20, 2006 so that our employees may begin their holidays with their families. Most campuses will be dismissing students and faculty by 1:00 pm, so we will close our center at 2:00 that day. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up by 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 20. Thank you.

At the library yesterday, the preschoolers made 3-D Christmas trees. They had a lot of fun hearing the story during storytime as well. The kids are always so well-behaved and attentive. We are very proud of them! :)

November images from Project HOPE...some little Indians and a birthday celebration. Enjoy!! :)

Café HOPE was a big success on Wednesday, December 6. Anna Kessler from the Office of the Attorney General was on hand to discuss father's rights, father's responsibilities, and child support. She answered many questions and left the students with lots of handouts and information about how to open child support cases. We appreciate her being here with us and look forward to our next Café HOPE, which will be on December 13. Our guest that day will be from the Texas Workforce Commission and we'll be discussing youth work programs as well as the CCS program for child care subsidies.
